From 1952-1970, "The Jackie Gleason Show" was one of the most popular variety shows of its time. Millions of viewers tuned in each week to watch a mix of sketches, guest stars, musical numbers and Jackie Gleason's loveable characters including the suave millionaire, Reginald Van Gleason III, gregarious, Joe the Bartender and boisterous, Rudy the Repairman, to name a few. It was the overbearing bus driver, Ralph Kramden who launched the generational hit "The Honeymooners", featuring Gleason as Ralph Kramden, Audrey Meadows as Alice Kramden, Arte Carney as Ed Norton and Joyce Randolph as Trixie Norton. Most episodes revolved around Ralph's absurd choices that frequently ignited his judgmental attitude laced with over-the-top comedy.
