Widely regarded as one of the greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams began his career performing on the streets of San Francisco. He worked his way up from a bartender to headliner in his home club the Holy City Zoo. He moved to LA and performed stand up at the legendary comedy clubs The Improv and the Comedy Store where he caught the eye of producer, George Schlatter, and got is televisivion break in the 1977 revival of Laugh-In. His career took off playing the alien Mork in the ABC sitcom Mork & Mindy (1978–1982) followed by his awarding winning films "Good Will Hunting", "Dead Poet's Society", "Good Morning, Viet Nam", "Mrs. Doubtfire" and many more. Robin won 4 Grammy's and received Emmy nods for his HBO specials including for his work on HBO's Comic Relief with his comedian pals, Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg.
