Known for his sharp wit and larger-than-life personality, Pat Cooper's comedy focused on his Italian-American heritage with rapid-sire delivery and unapologetic honesty. He began performing in the 1950s and got his big break when he appeared on “The Jackie Gleason Show” in 1963. He opened for some of the biggest names in show business, including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr. and Liza Minnelli. He recorded several comedy specials and albums including “Pat Cooper Live,” “You’re Always Yelling” and “Spaghetti Sauce and Other Delights.” He was also known for his frequent appearances on The Howard Stern Show, Imus in the Morning, and Opie and Anthony.
