Gilbert Gottfried’s unleashed his bold comedic style, distinctive voice and satirical and outragoeus observaitions performing at open mic nights in New York City in the 1970s. He was a favorite guest on the “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson”, and "The David Letterman Show" and was a regular quest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and "The Howard Stern Show". As an actor and voice actor he was featured on many TV shows such as “Night Court,”, “The Fairly Odd Parents", "Ren and Stimpy" and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves". His theatrical success came when he played Iago in Disney’s “Aladdin” alongside fellow comedy legend Robin Williams. He released a comedy special in 2005 titled “Dirty Jokes” and hosted a podcast called “Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast” from 2014 until his death in 2022. Gottfried’s ability to approach taboo topics and his comedic timing have secured him a spot as a comedy legend.
