He is considered to be one of the greatest minds in comedy history. Bob’s first album, The Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart (1960) shot to the #1 spot on Billboard Records and stayed there for 14 weeks. 30 years later (1992) Bob wanted to record a live special mirroring the classic material on the album. 28 year after that taping (2020) the audio album from, Bob Newhart: Off the Record, was released digitally worldwide and on special edition vinyl album.
